Mixing Zeolite

Posted by ZeoliteMixer on February 9, 2012 in Zeolite |

Taking zeolite as a dietary supplement is essential for detoxifying your body of harmful heavy metals and other toxins.  It boosts your immune system, helps balance your body’s pH (making an environment where foreign cells can’t thrive) and overall helps with your well-being.  Fitting zelote into your daily routine can be a little tricky, it comes in three forms: liquid, capsules and powdered.

If you are looking for a fast, convenient way, liquid products are the way to go.  Unfortunately you don’t always get the amount of zeolite you need for it to be effective.   Many companies short change you in the amount of zeolite you need.  Zetox is the best bang for your buck in terms of grams of zeolite per serving.  You can see a great product comparison here. More About Zeolite

Posted by ZeoliteMixer on February 8, 2012 in Zeolite |

Zeolite is a mineral found in nature.  There are over 150 different types of zeolites.  Pure clinopilolite is the only form that is safe for human consumption.   Zeolite helps your body naturally detox heavy metals and toxins by trapping these harmful, positively charged ions in its negatively charged cage-like structure.

A study was done on the effect zeolite has on cancer cells, in most cases, the tumors were greatly reduced or eliminated completely.  Many zeolite products have been manufactured for different reasons.  Zeolite can be used to treat the symptoms of cancer, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), diarrhea, hangovers,  balance the immune system and pH levels, and help with radiation therapy side effects.

Many manufacturers claim to have the best products around.  As you can see in this product comparison, the front runner for powdered and capsule products is ZEO Health and for liquid zeolite is Zetox.   Liquid zeolite usually doesn’t have enough zeolite in each serving to be effective, which is why in these recipes I have chosen to use the powdered form made by ZEO Health, ZEOLITE PURE.  I want to make taking the largest effective dose of zeolite fun and delicious.

Diarrhea

Pectin (found in fruit skin) and protein are binding agents that are very helpful when you’re experiencing diarrhea. They help harden the stool and stop the symptoms caused by diarrhea. Unfortunately your body loses many vital nutrients but one that stands out is potassium. This can cause unnecessary cramping. Supplementing with bananas and cantaloupe will help restore the needed nutrient and get you feeling better in no time. Since there aren’t any really yummy drink recipes that add protein without going on a scavenger hunt through the health food store, let’s focus on the pectin and potassium.

Cantaloupe-Apple Smoothie  (2 servings)

  • 2 scoops of ZEOLITE PURE
  • ½ cantaloupe (rind and seeds removed)
  • 1 apple (remove stem & seeds, cut into chunks)
  • 1 carrot (peeled, cut into chunks)

I often think of total relaxation, without pain (as most Arthritis sufferers do). To do this I mentally take a break and picture myself being transported to a tropical place. Sugar-Free Russian Tea- Holy Hot Zeolite, Batman!

Posted by ZeoliteMixer on December 8, 2012 in Zeolite, Zeolite Drinks |

We all know that warm drinks aren’t as much fun as blender drinks, but they can be just as yummy! Since zeolite won’t dissolve, it is of course easier to mask it in a blended drink than a clear drink, like tea. But that’s where I come in to help you along and give you some ideas.

Typically my recipes have been healthy, very easy, 1-2 servings, no fuss, throw in blender and you’re done. However, hot drinks take a little more time and effort, (not to mention decadent ingredients), but they are well worth it! You will see some time consuming entries, duplicate ingredients, some harder to find ones too, but all contribute to wildly delicious drinks that you can mix your zeolite into. Many of these will make more servings than you can drink at once, but you can save them for later use, or enjoy them with friends. Yay!

As always leave your comments and share your ideas, who knows you may inspire a new post! (That’s a nod to you Julie!)

All the recipes in this blog are made with ZEO Health’s ZEOLITE PURE powdered product. The reason is they have the purist form of zeolite and their product was used in the efficacy study.

Sugar-Free Russian Tea (48 servings)

And you thought 21 servings was a lot! But remember, these can be saved for a while and enjoyed later.

Ingredients

  • 48 scoops of ZEOLITE PURE
  • 4-1/2 teaspoons of sugar-free orange drink mix
  • 3-1/2 teaspoons of sugar-free lemonade drink mix
  • 16 teaspoons of a sugar substitute (like Splenda or Truvia)
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves

Directions

  1. To prepare: Combine all ingredients except ZEOLITE PURE; mix well.
  2. Store in an airtight container
  3. To serve: add 1 scoop of ZEOLITE PURE and 1/4 teaspoon of mix to a mug
  4. Stir in 3/4 cup of hot water

Zeolite Brownies (Not a Drink!)

Posted by ZeoliteMixer on November 28, 2012 in Zeolite |

Make it delicious to be healthy! Don’t forget to share your reviews and recipes in the comments!

All the recipes in this blog are made with ZEO Health’s ZEOLITE PURE powdered product. The reason is they have the purest form of zeolite and their product was used in the efficacy study.

I know it’s not a drink, but for kicks here’s a brownie recipe—in case you want something warmer (and less healthy).

Zeolite Brownies (16 servings)

  • 8 scoops of ZEOLITE PURE
  • ½ cup butter , melted
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • ½ cup flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 -2 cup chocolate chips (semisweet, white, butterscotch, peanut butter)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Grease an 8 inch square pan or line with foil
  3. In a medium bowl combine melted butter and cocoa and stir until cocoa is dissolved
  4. Add sugar and ZEOLITE PURE, mix well
  5. Add eggs one at a time and stir until well combined
  6. Stir in vanilla, flour and salt until you no longer see any flour (do not overmix)
  7. Fold in chocolate chips
  8. Spread in pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes.
  9. DO NOT OVER-BAKE or your brownies will come out dry. Adjust time/temp accordingly for your oven. If you do the knife/toothpick test, it should come out with moist crumbs, not clean.

10. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

ENJOY!

White Hot Chocolate (2 servings)

I know I said I want to make easy recipes that everyone can make but I have to give you this disclaimer: Here’s where I took out the “no-fuss” and “healthy” rules for real. I’m talking fat filled, full attention demanding, melting actual baking chocolate on the stove, type of stuff here. This is not for the culinary novice. Attempt at your own risk!!

Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops of ZEOLITE PURE
  • 3 cups of half-and-half (divided)
  • 2/3 cup of vanilla baking chips
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon of almond extract
  • ground cinnamon garnish optional

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of half and half, vanilla chips, ZEOLITE PURE, cinnamon stick and nutmeg
  2. Stir over low heat until chips are melted, discard cinnamon stick
  3. Add remaining half and half; stir until heated through
  4. Remove from heat
  5. Add extracts, stir and pour into 2 mugs

Almond Cocoa (1 serving)

Yay you get to use your blender again, but you still need to do a little work and boil water.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop of ZEOLITE PURE
  • 2/3 cup of water
  • 1-2 tablespoons of almonds
  • 2 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2-3 teaspoons of sugar substitute to taste (like Splenda or Truvia)
  • 1/3 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup boiling water

Directions:

  1. Combine water, ZEOLITE PURE and almonds in a blender. Blend until smooth, or your desired texture, you can’t always get almonds to be extremely smooth and the zeolite will be a little gritty anyway
  2. Add remaining ingredients EXCEPT boiling water and blend on a low setting
  3. Pour the mixture into a cup, then add the boiling water (if it’s not hot enough, stick it in the microwave for a bit)

Buttered Apple Cider (21 servings)

(21 servings!! Goodness, but wait, here’s the catch—make it all at once and heat it up one cup at a time THEN add your ZEOLITE PURE to it)

Ingredients:

  • 21 scoops of ZEOLITE PURE
  • 1 1/2 cups of softened butter
  • 1 ½ cups of light brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of cinnamon
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of nutmeg
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of ground cloves
  • Apple Cider

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl beat butter, brown sugar, and spices till light and fluffy.
  2. Cover and store in refrigerator for up to two weeks.
  3. To serve: Place one scoop of ZEOLITE PURE and one rounded tablespoon of spice butter into a mug and fill with 3/4 cup boiling apple cider; stir to blend
